Conference testing

  • 2 calls are placed into the conference
  • Recording Channel - The actual number needing testing. This number dials into the conference and is set to record any audio being played
  • Playing Channel - We refer to this call leg as the DDI (Direct Dial IN). This is a number that is local to the conference bridge (as this theoretically will give the best audio quality). This call is placed and enters the conference. Once in the conference it will play the test audio prompt
  • The recording channel would record the audio prompt being played
  • Once the call is finished the recording would be analysed by PESQ and the appropriate score will be given
