Running a Test

This is an Agent Assure test from Spearline. Used to validate the ability of call center agents to conduct voice calls while working from home.

If you have received an email inviting you to run a test, you must follow the instructions provided to gather the necessary details to complete the test.

To run the test, do the following:

  1. Follow the link received in the email.
  2. When prompted, allow the microphone permission at the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 1: Allow microphone access.
Step 2: Start the test.
Step 3: Let the test do its thing.
Step 4: Test completed.

If the test fails, you will be provided with some steps which you can take to try and remedy the situation. For more information, see Understanding The Results.


FAQ

Why have I been sent this invitation?

Your employer has sent you this invitation so that they may test your connection to validate your ability to conduct voice calls while working remotely.

The link is invalid. Why is this?

Links are valid for 30 days. Opening a link after this period has ended will result in a 404 error. To continue, you must request a new test link from your employer.

What does “This is the wrong machine” mean?

Links are specific to a user and a machine. If there is an issue with the fingerprint of your machine, you will receive an error. You must request a new test link from your employer.

 What do I need to do after the test has been completed?

If you receive a poor or critical result, you can use the information provided on-screen to alleviate your quality issues. You can rerun the test each time you change something to see if your voice quality has improved.
