1/7/2021 – Improvements to Reports & Dashboards

What was the bug?

India is one of the top 3 default markets on the dashboard but it was not at all considered in the management report and hence the report and dashboard were not identical. Also, the management report didn’t have all the test types which were available on the dashboard.

 

What problem was the bug creating?

The management report and dashboard were showing different information and not all the test types available on the dashboard were present in the management report.

What was changed after the bug was fixed?

All the test types are now available on the management reports as well as the dashboards. India is now visible in the management report and dashboard. Both of them are presenting the correct information.

What difference will it create now?

Accurate and identical information is available in both places which will make the data easy and less confusing to understand.


 

9/7/2021 – Numbers Module and Campaigns have been Optimised

What was the bug?

Because of the enormous amount of data available on the Numbers / Campaign page of the platform, it was working really slow and it was taking almost 10s to load the page. It was quite difficult and time-consuming to work this way.

 

What problem was the bug creating?

It was creating inconvenience while uploading numbers, creating campaigns, loading data, and was making the platform work slower.

What was changed after the bug was fixed?

Numbers page of the platform and Campaigns now work better and quicker, which makes the work less tiring and consumes less time while improoving the customer experience.

What difference will it create now?

Campaigns and Numbers page can be used easily and in a quicker way.


 

23/7/2021 – Voice Assure Realtime – China TFN Issue Fixed

What was the bug?

For some of the toll free number series, the route through which the number was dialed and the one which was displayed was not corresponding. Even if the number was Toll Free within Voice Assure Realtime, it was visible as Toll when presented on the CallDetail Records (CDR’s). This information could mislead the user and create confusion.

What problem was the bug creating?

The route which was chosen and the one from which the number is being tested were different. For the same reason, if any of the test fails, it was difficult to understand and resolve the issue.

What was changed after the bug was fixed?

The numbers are now being dialed from the chosen route and it shows the correct details about the call on CDR’s and the Voice Assure Realtime reporting dashboard.

 

What difference will it create now?

For some numbers, there was an override route available which ultimately means that, the number series is available as Toll and Toll Free both and this was the reason and main cause of the issue. Now this issue has been resolved and the same number series can be tested through both, Toll and Toll Free routes.
