A Day in the Life of a Spearline Account Manager

As an Account Manager, my role is to ensure clients have long term success with Spearline and see measurable ROI from number testing.

So, what is a Spearline Account Manager?

When a new client signs up with Spearline, they are assigned an Account Manager, such as myself, to get them onboarded, develop their testing plan and ensure our platform is tailored to their needs.

From then on, I work closely with clients from many different industries to implement successful number testing strategies in order to help them improve the performance of their global telephony infrastructure.  

What do you do every day?

Working at a company like Spearline means I have the autonomy to manage my own portfolio of clients and manage my own day.

A typical day for me involves proactive work in preparing for client consulting calls by reviewing reports and testing data, making tactical recommendations and keeping up to speed with the latest Spearline platform features to show to clients.

I help our clients identify trends in their number testing data and find the most innovative and efficient testing solutions for their needs. They appreciate our service and get assurance in knowing their numbers are proactively monitored by receiving real-time alerts for any outages or quality issues identified during testing.

I also liaise with our 24/7 Testing Support team to ensure testing procedures are followed and to troubleshoot advanced issues on behalf of my clients.

 

Life at Spearline

Working in the telecoms industry is exciting, dynamic and constantly evolving! I wouldn't say we embrace the “work hard, play hard” mantra, we are more of a "work hard, celebrate our success together" type of company. The work itself can get hectic from time to time, with so many moving parts to meet client deliverables, but when it’s time to put down work for the day, we unwind with a social event.

We've been known to let our hair down by sailing around the beautiful coast line of Roaring Water Bay, coastered in Co.Kerry, after which we quench our thirst with some cool beers whilst indulging in some local cuisine. During the summer, you can find us partaking in local soccer leagues and the company sponsored SCAR (Skibbereen Charity Adventure Race), alternatively, during the Winter months we hibernate into poker and quiz nights. When it comes to the last Friday of the month, or internal QBR's, the company is never shy to treat us.

Life as an Account Manager at Spearline is very busy, but working alongside a great team and great clients makes it very rewarding.
