2016 in Review: What a year!

Seasons greetings to you all! As we near the end of December and our thoughts begin to turn toward the new year and all that it may bring, I wanted to take the opportunity to look back and reflect on what an incredible year it’s been for us here at Spearline.

The past twelve months has seen us double the team at Spearline. During the summer we opened new offices in both Bucharest and Kilkenny to facilitate our growing sales, our expanding list of clients and our increasing range of innovative testing services. We also introduced a dedicated Customer Experience team to manage and coordinate the processes supporting our range of testing services, including project planning, initial integrations, launches and ongoing operational issues.  We have also expanded our expert Customer Support team to provide even greater always-on testing support and reporting for our customers.   

2016 has also seen us double our unmatched database of tests from which we benchmark our customers’ call quality. We are now proud to offer in-country Toll and Toll Free testing in 60 countries. We also launched mobile testing this year, which is already available in 13 countries. Currently, we are busy rolling out V5.0 of the Spearline Platform, which contains new features to give our customers even greater control over their testing experience. We’re excited to tell you more about these updates in 2017 so stay tuned!

Our success hasn't gone unnoticed: We were delighted to have ranked for the first time in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA awards earlier this month. The awards recognise the 500 technology companies across EMEA that achieved the fastest rates of revenue growth during the past four years. In November we ranked 8th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards, which measure the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. This was our 3rd successive year making the Deloitte Fast 50 list. We were also thrilled to have won the 2016 Deloitte Impact Award in association with PayPal. This highly regarded award is given to the company that has made the most significant impact within the current year. Spearline’s dynamism was also recognised by winning the “One to Watch” category at the it@cork Leader’s Awards.  It is humbling to receive these accolades from our industry peers, but it is also confirmation of the fantastic work the team at Spearline put in this year.   

2017 will see us build on this momentum. We will focus on broadening the suite of bespoke services we provide to our expanding customer base. We are committed to increasing the number of countries in which we provide in-country Toll and Toll Free testing and extending our mobile-testing capabilities to even more countries. This past year we saw an exceptional increase in the number of countries we test from and I expect Spearline's global infrastructure to continue to grow in the coming year. 

Once again I am so thankful to our great team and their tremendous work this year: it’s their hard work and commitment to excellence that has made our success possible. To our valued customers, both long-term and more recent, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for your continuing support.  It has been a pleasure to work with you to find the right solutions for your business challenges.
